Robert Hayward was born in the city of San Fernando and served as a firefighter for several years. He completed his firefighting career after finding his true passion for working with hazardous materials. A proud CA native with a background in Chemistry and Emergency Response, he realized he wanted to be a part of a greater mission to preserve our environment for future generations.
This is where HEC, Inc. was born, out of his garage, with $30 in his pocket and a mission to accomplish something great! This is where HEC’s vision statement was born “To serve as the premier environmental company enhancing the Nation’s safety‚ health‚ and protection from hazardous materials in our environment through responsible disposal methods that preserve our environment for everyone’s future.”
Mr. Hayward and the HEC family are committed to partnering with like-minded companies and members of the community who share the same values and goals of making our environment sustainable for today and generations to come. Charitable giving is also a top priority at HEC, with a commitment to sponsoring local City events and causes, organizations, and groups that help others.
